- Head and Neck Exam – We review cranial nerve function and screen for skin cancer on the head and neck area
- Oral Cancer Screening – Did you know that 3% of all cancers are Oral cancer? Early detection is crucial for all cancers, so every cleaning begins here.
- Nightguard/Denture/Partial/Retainer Cleanings and Adjustments – We are always happy to clean your oral appliances in our ultrasonic which makes quick work of the buildup that can accumulate, and make adjustments for comfort/function. Best of all, whether it’s our appliance or not, we’ll do this for free every single time.
- Medical History Update – Some medications and conditions can strongly affect your oral health, and understanding these impacts can make a huge difference in preventing dental problems!
- Periodontal Charting – This tells us a lot about your gums and bone health, and help us determine and diagnose periodontal disease sooner so we can prevent it and limit its impact.
- Sealants – For young children and anyone with baby cavities starting, sealants can be the first line of defense for preventing cavities and stopping the decay in its tracks! An ounce of prevention can be worth a pound of cure!
- X-Rays – Dr. Voss is amazing at what she does, and her loupes give her a microscopic view of what’s going on in your mouth. Unfortunately she doesn’t have x-ray vision, so seeing between your teeth is something she hasn’t mastered (yet!). Dental x-rays help us find these issues between your teeth early, so they can be resolved quickly and affordably before they become big problems!
- Evaluation While Cleaning – Dr. Voss goes over every tooth and looks for plaque, subgingival calculus, calculus, cavities, periodontal pockets, and much more. She also looks at your current fillings, crowns, implants, etc and checks for any potential issues so these can be caught early before they become potentially bigger problems.
- Home Care Instruction – We see your teeth 0.5% of the days of your life. The other 99.5% is up to you! We give you the tools, tips, tricks, and understanding to make your home hygiene routine as effective and effortless as possible.
- Dietary Advice – You’d be amazed what a little extra water every day can do for your teeth, and the impact some other choices can make.
